About us
The LIRALAB (Laboratory of Intelligent Robotics and Automation) was established within the Department of Engineering at the University of Ferrara.
Since its foundation in 2002, the lab has promoted research and experimentation in the fields of robotics, automation, and intelligent systems, combining academic knowledge with real industrial applications.
Our identity is rooted in the belief that technology should serve people.
Through innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and education, we aim to develop solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in both industrial and social contexts.
LIRALAB collaborates with several academic and industrial partners in Italy and Europe. Among them, KUKA Robotics, SIMOD project consortium, University of Modena and Regglo Emilia, Politecnico di Milano, and other research groups in automation and Al.
